Coming home and on the way to meet my husband at his work, I never realized how powerful a Werewolf's sense of smell and hearing really was until stupid me really felt it today. The Air smelled so dirty. used to think it was fresh air.. I also smelled urine of other animals and gods the garbage truck.. Now I did not smell Urine ect everywhere i went. but wow.. and hearing noise noise noise of town/city. Its worse when i already have a small headache. humans never realize the downsides of what being a Werewolf is. They think ooo powerful hearing and smell ooo I want it. no they don't.. Now am i coping and taking some pride in what i am now? will i change it? ya I am coping and taking some pride. But now being completely open to what i am accepting it and knowing my real smell and hearing ect ya there are down sides. Sides humans will never understand.. my husband feels in time I will be so used to it that I won't be that effected by it anymore.

I am not a werewolf but I get what you are talking about. There's so much stuff going on that people will never quite know about unless they become a were/shifter/morph. You hear people screaming, crying, and talking a lot(Not that I have a problem with it) and the smell in certain places whether you are were or not can be bad. People wanting to be werewolves? You'd think not because of the old movies but the movies have gotten better than what it was. That's almost like H2O Just add Water but people have always wanted to be mermaids.(That I understand very much)

I completely get what your saying. It does suck when I'm in a new environment and I have to smell everything new. It defiantly takes a while to get used to those scents, but eventually you get used to it. At least until you go somewhere different and have to experience it all over again. But yes, you will get over those new found scent glands, you get used to them actually quicker than you'd expect. I just have to explain to my best friend that my hearing and scent arn't always on high alert all the time. She thinks that I can hear and smell everything 24/7. In my case where our school is located, I can't exactly do that.

Fortunately you can learn to block out things. Unfortunately it does not always work haha. Not judging you here but you would have always had this it would not have been something you could have completely ignored?. Its impossible too, especially at night the senses are increased at least for a werewolf . I am surprised how you never noticed this ^.^.
