Even though i posted about Prey Weres and such, I am now curious on Werewolf origins. How did we come to be? did it start when humans took in wolves right before the dog? I watched one Doc where supposibly we originated in Ireland but were driven out during the Hysteria of the middle ages along with the Witch hysteria and burnings. what do you guys think?

Um hmm well the werewolf was said to have started in europe. But thats just what i have heard, wolves once flourished in europe. Its quite possible this all started when humans came into contact with wolves. When werewolves went to trial to what we know most werewolf accusations were of actual murders. I cannot dig up a true case of anyone caught shape shifting and being trialed for it. That sort of thing would have been classed as witchery back then. Most werewolf trails were for murderers. It was easy to blame the werewolf even though they knew nothing about them.

o very very true. And Werewolves were put right along with Witches and labled as the same and treated as such. Who is to say SOME werewolves did not kill people but ya many blamed us. just for being what we are.
