as I am now pretty much cemented into what i am, I spoke to a close very close friend today. I described what i am, my markings, how I have Fae/elven in my lines ect but I am feline. She thought and basically said the name of my species is Bakeneko. (we are in Japanese lore) I thought them and nekomata were the same but as she made things more clear. We are not the same thing. I asked if we were well Werecats and no we are a different species but often the lines are blurred. Funny thing is i was right in the past of my species but all the confusion happened as usual. She did say its important to not reject my spiritual side eather. That i should work with that as well. Also after I described my markings and such. My closest feline relation would actauly be the Serval. Bakeneko are from what she said more Fae influence then Were which really rang with me. So I am VERY thankful more and more made sense to me. So now that I am pretty much cemented, i wanted to give that update.

ya it was something I was pulled to in the past but because of conflicts it was something that i pushed back. I also thought bakeneko was the same as nekomata something that evolved into another but learned thats wrong. Ancient Times really blurred a lot of lines because some races ect were similar to another.

also the ONLY draw back to being a humanoid cat is I learned i will not beable to move my ears like a full on cat. As I would not have the 32 muscles it would take to swivel them. They can move but not the full degree like a full fledged cat or Werecat could. o well. I can still focus on shifting my feline ears and hearing.

Hmmm interesting. Servals are from Africa. At least that's what I know about them. I wonder if the kitsune is the same way.

so ya all in all i am kind of like a bi ped Serval and I am proud of it. Can I fully go on all 4s besides to run and look similar to a normal Serval? I do not know. possibly. I have more talking to do with my friend about it. Though even then I would not look normal. I have gray fur and such and my tail is longer. But ya.

also do to my grayish fur, The Savannah cat is also a very close kin. Sorry just proud of what i am i cannot help it. A Savannah cat is a hybrid cat of Serval and domestic. So Serval is Still a close kin regardless. The more I study these cats the more in awe I am.
