Hey guys, hows it going?
I've had some interesting developments happen over the past few weeks. I can officially say what I am. I am a Smilodon, or more commonly called a Saber-Tooth Tiger. I once thought about being a Smilodon, but thought it wasn't me. I started to some research these past few days and noticed a very particular pattern. When I picture my shifted form, I never picture a one type of animal. I picture a mix, which is why a Dual-shifter came into play a few years ago. I know at some point a friend said something about being a Chimera, or a mix of a few different animals. I didn't really think much about it until I started to get deeper into my own wereism. And a chimera started to make sense.
I started to think about the animals that I thought I might be. Wolf, Snow leopard, lion and I often contemplated on a bear. That's when I started to do some research about prehistoric carnivores, which lead me to my realization, a Saber-tooth. I started to do some research and watched a few you tube videos about them and everything clicked. The Paleontologists that went through the skeleton broke down the prehistoric cat. It was a heavily muscled lion/cat which had short back legs like a bear and hunted in packs like wolves. It's pattern was much like a leopards and took down huge prey with their giant teeth. Since it's an Ice Age predator, it does really well in the cold. (I love and can stand really cold temperatures, while I become agitated and can get sick in hot weather.) They also said it was nothing like any modern animal, and in their own words, "It's a beast". Now anyone who has really known me and read some of my posts, I call my shift, my beast form. When I picture my shifted form, a saber tooth comes to mind.
I do like to draw once and a while and I try to draw wolves, but everyone who sees them never says its a wolf. I used to draw horses and the same thing occurred. Now I wonder if I added large teeth to it, it would resemble my shifted form.
Ever since this discovery, I've felt very shifty and I'm pretty positive I've partially shifted the past two nights. Anytime I think about shifting and picture this form, my body almost immediately starts to shake and feel like it's shifting. My body is a bit sore and hurts in certain spots like it's trying to shift. I've never felt like this before and I'm really excited to see how this winter goes. I'm super happy that I've figured out what I truly am and I'm excited to get some shifting in this winter.
I thought this was an interesting update that I wanted to share with everyone, and I hope to maybe be on a bit more after this discovery. But I also want to delve a bit deeper into this new discovery, so it's really up in the air at this moment.
